Handmade beaded earrings named after the famous lemons of Sorrento, Italy. An intricate gold filigree connector sits at the crown of each earring, and from it, cascading strands of seed beads fall in lemon yellow, fresh green, and warm gold. Tiny sparkling crystals are threaded throughout, catching the light as you move. Lastly, three delicate gold chains hang in the center, a small detail that adds movement and shine.

The story behind
These earrings were inspired by an adventure along the Amalfi Coast, and by Sorrento, a town I still associate with sunshine, sparkling sea, and lemons everywhere. Its lemon groves climb the steep hillsides in brilliant yellow and green, perfuming the air in season, and many of those lemons become limoncello, the sunny liqueur that tastes like southern Italy in a glass. I made these to capture a little of that feeling: joyful, summery, and bright. 🍋
